Hi , I have applied and am waiting for my Autobahnstormers card . My local VX dealer is on their website . So my question is , as I haveonly ever bought a washer bottle bung plug from them before ( and don't want to get ripped off )
I am in need of the following for a 98 2.5 V6 Petrol Mig

x6 Spark plugs ( which ones do you recommend )
Oil Filter
Oil  ( Which one do you reccomend )
Air Filter

Can anyone please give me their reccomendations on the above , and what I should be expecting the bill to come to with my card discount. Sorry to ask , but I am NO mechanic so do not have any idea what I should ask for / and pay

Sparks - the regular GM 2 electrode ones about a couple of quid each , no more
oil filter - you need to check if you have the spin on (element c 3 quid) or canister type (a quid or so)
oil - semi synthetic 10W40 , best buy is 4 cans for the price of 3 (30 odd quid). You need c 6 L anyway.
air filter - they will know, and I can't recall how much, tenner maybe.

Don't leave it to just before closing if its the first time you are using your card - they may have some admin.

First time I used my ABS card the dealers in swidnod just went .. "Ah .. one of them" and it went through a dream ..  They even gave me trade prices on non-TC items .

I also used it in Southampton ... again .. no problems at all ..
