I tried a similar response and failed. I hate the Teesside accent, live in Durham, not too bad accent wise, but born a Geordie

Regional accents and bad spelling are opps all to do with each other. I speak as broad as the next Northerner but never use F instead of TH which seems to be the norm these days. As per my other reply, it p's me off when people use American instead on bl00dy English cos they don't know or can't be arsed. No when they meant know, or there which is often used instead of they're or their etc etc etc .......

Agreed, and I've no gripe if you're from the USA & use American terms/spellings, but we get a lot of tires/color etc from this of the Pond. America & Britain divided by a common language

Yep Lizzie......I know from my postings that it's hard to believe........but yes I did.................in about 1978......if memory serves.....in the days when not every Tom......Dick and Harry could pass them.
