sd1 rover loved them cars 3500 v8 what a nice sound on that motor . just the body was a bit prone to rust  :y :y

Watched it too -- great  :y  Might be looking through rose tinted specs -- but it was a happier time ( even with the Faulklands). Life was less ... complicated. You just got on with it without all this PC crap  :y

And those SDIs weren't so much a body prone to rust, as a rust heap with a bit of car thrown in -- but I loved them too -- eventually, after getting over the loss of the P6 !!!!

Yup had a few of these :y :y

A Chrysler Alpine and an Austin or Morris J van.  Not much of a selection.  ::) The bike looked like a 4 cylinder, but don't think it was a Honda, forks too long, any idea?

yea the best thing we had was the old CB radio what a good laugh we had on them . the good days ;D ;D :y

Ah yes, the CB radio and the ....erm ..... illegal antennae. On the subject of which, remember those whip aerials you had to clip to the gutter ... if it came loose in motion it could decapitate several pedestrians  ;D :o
