does any one know where the fuse compartment is on a mk2 jag!! help! :-/

Cars of that era tended to be rather ecomomical with fuses, I don't know for certain, but I wouldn't expect to find anything like the number of fuses that you'd find on a modern car eg Omega

From memory, is there a small lucas style fuse box under the bonnet on the bulkhead.

And also there maybe some fuses on back of the centre of the dasboard, the bit with the switches and gauges, usually just 2 screws to undo and it folds down to gain access.

Forgot to add you need to remove the picnic tray from beneath switch panel then remove 2 screws and then fold it down towards you.

i thought they might be behind the centre walnut panel with the clocks & switches in :-/

I did say if I remember correctly  ;D But there was def some there on dad's 1968 S Type.
