Off to Normandy with the wife and 2 sons in 2 weeks time....taking  :ythe Mig plus my parents are coming along to the same resort and taking their Astra....should be fun!!!

Then 3 days in Moscow in August for the MAKS airshow (Business class with BMI)

Then taking the Mig over to Lodz in Poland again to see the in-laws. Thats a 2500 mile round trip with me and a mate sharing the driving. Took us 23 hours to do the 1250 mile trip out there last time we went.

Its a good year for holidays !!!

The roads through France, Belgium, Holland and Germany arent too bad at all (barring traffic problems)

There is normally a queue at the German-Polish border, but its once in Poland that the roads get REALLY bad !!!!

Their A roads have troughs gouged by HGVs that are so deep its dangerous !!!

Majorca for one week at the end of May (half term) and then Devon for 1 week in August.

It rather expensive going abroad this year though!

I find its not much more expensive to go for 2 weeks but its the fact you have an extra weeks spends to find, I always prefer self catering but ends up being more expensive. We paid £355 each which aint too bad, good reviews on the apartments too. No 2 For Sidari on trip advisor and holidays uncovered.com  :y

Well having to go in school holidays ups the price and half term is only 1 week long
.
This year its the flights that have killed us, 350+ per head (4 off), hotel was reasonable (half board).

if you have chosen another place here are the flight prices

As said, bloody decent bloke :y :y :y :D
