Looks nice, have you seen the car, or any close up pics of the Laquer? I am sure it is well worth the cash.  :y

No just the ebay stuff?
If its rough when i get there i can always walk away i guess, but had a "long " chat  with the fella and he seems genuine enough, reckons its his pride and joy but needs the  money for a winch for his wagon?
Time will tell if he truthful or not i suppose
I hate buying a car !! loads of ifs and buts  :(

I hate to put a dampener on your new car but this guy breaks omega's. the car on the bag of his wagon is a silver mv6 saloon,not an estate as he is hoping to make us believe with his shading. that alone would be ringing my alarm bells.
 
I hope I'm wrong and the car is everything it is supposed to be. :-/ :-/

Well spotted that man  8-) but hw did you get that from the pic???????
I spoke to him and he reckons he just came across another one, as he was also selling an mv6 boot lid on ebay  and you could see both cars in that ad, reckons thats where the wheels came from and looking at the pics  of the other car i can say its a feesable excuse, it showed it in various states from intact to no running gear , well thats what i am telling myself anyway... at least he was honest enough to say he went bankrupt last year and had got a truck again and upgraded to a more reliable one but it didnt have a winch????
could be telling fibs but i will find out i suppose??????

this makes me think I could really do with a 'weekend' car - i fancy a prefacelift MV6 and at that price, it would be less than I've spent on parts for my facelift!

Mind you, the G/F would kick me out.

AAAHHHH Cant get in touch with the seller to arrange collection  :'( :'( Sent him a message through ebay, rang him, sent him a text  :'( :'(
Was hoping to collect sunday (pre arranged with the guy that he would wait that long) and possibly pop to the York meet for an hour on the way back !

The phrase 'cam cover gaskets repalced and sealed up' does not fill me with confidence!

You use a few small spots of sealent on the cam covers seals.....not 3 tubes and a grubby finger!
