[Vamps]

I just wanted to say what a great time myself and Miss Vamps had a York, even though it was cold in that tent at night.

It was my first ‘meet’ where we have stayed, did visit the Lakes for a few hours last year. I would like to say how nice it was to meet fellow oofers, though I still have some trouble in putting people together with their real names, but this meet has helped a lot with this.  

I felt  warmly welcomed by members as I wandered around the field looking for faces old and new, though having seen a couple of threads it would seem that some members came and went without me meeting with them, well there is always next year.  

I missed out on the late, or should I say early going’s on, (drinking)  having to look after Miss Vamps who needed a warm bed, but still got a lot out of the weekend, and was on the team that won the quiz. Don’t think we were good, just think the other teams were, well, not so good........

Miss Vamps was really pleased to meet Miss Loo-Knee, having spend some time talking on MSN, it was a pleasure to see that they got on so well together, keeping themselves entertained and leaving Loo-Knee and Myself with some peace.  

And a BIG thanks to Ian and his helpers for setting this up, put me down for the next one.

Vamps it was great meeting you at long last, and yes both "Little Miss Vamps" and "Little Miss Loo-knee" got on very well. Robwig's lads also played well and am sure they enjoyed it too.

    You're more than welcome! I just about managed on my battery, it died last night! My 'spare' car battery just lasted till we left.
