It was a number of issues not just the gaskets :(

Thanks again Daz & Pete,been out for a few hours covered around 50miles and it never missed a beat so dont think I am going to need that box of matches  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The misfire seemed to get worse under load, it was getting late (10.00 pmish) Rob needed his car for work in the morning and although we tested the leads and dispack at York, we decided to replace them. its been OK since, fingers crossed.

Just been out again and seems to be running fine to me,as you say EP fingers crossed  :o :o

not wrong there matey,I think if it wasn't for you and EP I would of given up on it a long time ago.Not just a pain in the arse for me but you 2 aswell,lets hope thats it for a while.Anything else happens and I'll be in touch,because I dont trust no other tinker to go under the bonnet which is understandable after the break ups you found diagnosing other knobheads work. :y :y :y
