... and what a strange experience it was too! Once they had drained their pint I started to get very sweaty and faint   they had to put cold cloths on me and all sorts - has anyone else had this?

Other than my funny turn it wasn't too bad really. I hope it is of some use to someone!

Mostly matron types, but a lovely girl had to sit with me for 15 minutes when I finished and she was tidy to say the least

just checked online, yes 26 donations, but havent done it in over a year for health reasons - invasive investigations (ouch)

I can't match that Jimbob..............only 9 times...........three times a year .......................it,s not quite a pint........... actually 470ml......plus the extra blood to check for hepatitis.........aids etc.

I always fill my pockets with lots of wagon wheels when I leave.

I've been unable to give blood for the past ten years as i'm usually getting tattoos and never go long enough to be allowed to do it before the next one is done!!!
