Still waiting for my Mig
« on: 07 May 2009, 09:59:49 »

Grrr I'm still waiting for my car to be returned from the service.
Parts exchanged because they didn't change the water pump two months ago are now...
Waterpump, cambelt (again) aux belt( again) tensioners (again) headgasket kit, valves (8 of them) etc...
I probably set a world record in the sortest endurace of cambelt and aux belt  because the repair man didn't replace the waterpump two months ago >:(

I know tunnie, but only 8 needed replacing after they broke when the belt skipped.
The rest are fine, only the rubbers on them will be changed

Good, just wanted to check the garage knew the right amount of valves.

Vauxhall dealers have been known to tell customers the 3.0 has 12 valves  ;D

Maybe they thought about the intake valves, and didn't know about the other ones.
I've changed a lot of cars, and went to a lot of repair shops, and frankly all of them were incompetent.
Only one guy knew how to repair cars but he only serviced fiat and Lancia
