Driving down the A43 this morning, cruise set at just above 80, on my way to the station, i was in work autopilot mode.

Up ahead on the bridge i saw a cop car with its window open and a camera sticking out, i knew i slowed too late as he would have had me way up the road.

Cancelled cruise, slowed to 65, went under the bridge, there is then a slip road on the left, just as i came to it, i saw 2 unmarked police veccyC 3.2's come flying onto the dual carridgeway lights flashing  

I pulled into the inside lane, and saw them come flying up behind me...

I knew the cruise was set to 80, so i was prob doing around 75 in reality, and i was thinking 2 cop cars for this?

Anyway to my relief they went flying past me, followed by a 3rd marked veccy estate, and then a 4th Ford Galaxy!  

There was a car abounded i passed earlier surrounded by cop cars, so maybe the occupants got a ride and they were chasing that  :-/

Needles to say i was more awake than usual on the rest of the drive

When the do that round here it isnt about speeding, thats dealt with in the post, they are moke likely chasing the no MOT, Insurance or other wanted flag marked cars

Yeah it did have a similar feel to that from roadwars, although they usually use an ANPR van, not a Panda car with its window open, unless they are getting sneakier.

Was great to watch them fly past though, its something i would love to do, drive fast cars, fast after scum, and nick em.

Trouble is i don't think i could deal with the paper work and bad smashes were you shovel people up off the road.

i`ve been there too... Got stuck behind a slow female driver, she wouldn`t react to my indicator..
and was doing around 62 on a motorway in outside lane!! so i undertook her..
1min later =>a mercedes estate with blue lights in grille on my tail...  
Now that scared me enough not to undertake again  
i should add- he wasn`t after me

I think I would have great difficulty keeping a straight face if I had to nick someone after chasing them at three figure speeds for a few miles. Of course I would let them have a good head start so I had plenty of catching up to do.

No idea what they do to them, but the Galaxys that Northants fly up and down the M1 in are pretty rapid...  ...I know, I tried keeping up with one a couple of years back
