Yuk! Shuttle cases!

Yup, you guessed it, they are on the gay list as well.

I'm guessing it may be cheaper to buy a new shuttle case, if thats the way your sexuality takes you

Was not my choice of purchase, just been given one and diagnosed a ducked PSU.

Best choice of supplier seams:
http://www.evercase.co.uk/PowerSupplyUnits.htm

I used to get given them by the bucket full from work. Sorry but got none left now.

Could I suggest before completly condemming the power supply that you check the power button on the front, had more than 1 of these go wrong. It ended up that evertime I got one I pulled the wire off the m/board from the powerswitch and briefly shorted the pins together, sometimes it worked and it was the faulty switch and sometimes it did not meaning faulty power supply.

By the way if you short the 2 pins for to long it will turn off again.

It would do as a print server, its not that old its got firewire ports on the front, not sure on its spec though.

Confirmed its PSU, bodged an ATX one on, turned on fine.

If using Intel netburst or AMD athlon chips, it won't be ideal for leaving on 24/7.  Actually, shuttle is too compromised to be on 24/7.

WoL probably won't be the answer either, as it will always keep waking up unless you use magic packets, which will be too much farting around

Yeh WOL is too unreliable, its only going to be an office print server, father tunnie is the only one that prints, and the printer is in my room  >:(

Stopped using them scumbags a while ago, due to making warranty claims hard work and time consuming :(.  Still, not quite as bad as Bluepoint....
