Fitted a new (it came from a VX dealer who removed it from a brand new Omega as the buyer was having an Irmscher kit fitted) rear bumper, had to drill the holes for the park sensors first though.

Yes!

Though there are subtle differences between the Pre facelift and Facelift ones.

The two Torx screws on the lower edge of the bumper at the wheel arch were rusted onto the wheel arch liner clips.

Now need to locate two new liners as the plastic tabs have snapped.

Other than that it all came off reasonably easy, trying to balance the bumper while unplugging the loom from the park sensors was interesting though!

Not for me -- got a "day pass" from the missus to go work on my buggy  :) :)

Plan is to dip the calipers (and some of the suspension components) in oxalic acid to degrease and derust, then paint with Hydrate 80 and then a coat of hammerite.  Might then have time to rebuild the calipers -- but probably not  :(

The ones underneath, the screw goes through the bottom of the bumper then through a metal clip that's clipped on to the arch liner (which is what is damaged). I think they may have been broke before as the car had mudflaps fitted.

It's only a small arch liner so hopefully will be able to get some off Ebay cheapish.

They seem to have came out pretty easy on mine, surprisingly enough as you would expect them to be totally seized, because they are constantly exposed to water when its raining. :-?

Will be coated with CopperEase when I replace them! Infact anything that can rust underneath my car seems to be coated with smoothrite or copperease!!!!
