Hi all thinking of doing my lgv test soon and just wanted to know if anyone has got any of the theory books that they dont need anyone before i buy them in the shop

If you need any help give me a shout. been a International truck driver for the last 17 years and have more than 5 million miles under my belt.
Only go in long distance work if you are single and dont mind being away from home for a few weeks at a time. but its not as easy as everyone thinks, Just driving, dont forget the rout planning, paper work, load security and the correct way to load, repairs, cooking and cleaning are just a few things you have to do everyday. and also dont forget there are a lot of idiots out there that think you can manouver like a car till you try and stop the 44 tonns,
But it is a good job and in some cases very good payed.
