Perhaps you have a quota that you're not keeping up to and you're 2 behind?

Or you have 2 messages and they're both negative.

Or outgoing are positive and incoming are negative (you have 2 incoming)?

I give up.  Can I send you two to make it  up?:-/

I would not blame an Admin as that would be incorrect of me, but I would be careful insinuating the Team would do such a thing Lizzie ::) you also could experience a negative post count (with a bit of luck)  ;D  :-*

mmmmmmm :P :P :P  My post count is 7605!! :D :D ;)   ...........and I would never seriously believe any admin would ever touch your post count Daz!  Heaven forbid! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I have only ever removed 1 from Loo Knee's post count (the MSB!)
