Getting slightly fed up
« on: 15 June 2009, 22:24:55 »

I woke up to find my yahoo account full of bounced messages, that I didn't send  :-? .How can they fake an email address ?.

And I recently bought a nice new Sandisk 4 GB CF card for my new camera. The seller had over 1000 feedback so I reconed OK. It has been fine, a bit slow initially reading, but OK. I had been using a USB reader, but tonight I plugged it into a laptop using a PCMCIA reader, and guess what its not Sandisc, its someone called Topxcard, TPX-CFT-4GB.

Its a pain, so much fake crap around, and garbage spam.  :-X

I'm also in trouble with yahoo mail..and I give up.. :-/

I think they create e-mail accounts via some script, and then delete all again with script.. but I think ip traces can be followed back to original mail server..

anyway I cant manage even my job mail coming loads of which I dont have time to read , let 3 different accounts..

life was simple before ;D

I use the Aol desktop with an Aol E-mail address and have no probs what so ever. it is free to download and does not cost a penny.

I`ve noticed 6 or 7 (a day) such 'from me' messages flagging up in my SPAM filter box on my private Gmail account: they all ask addressees to "click here" if you can`t see something or other.....it`s most odd that it`s on my private account, as I only use that for friends/family messages.

'Spoofing' (using your accont as the sender) is very easy I`m told and the invitation to click within the message is to expose/harvest active mail accounts.

Such a shame that something so useful as t`internet and email has been hijacked by the creeps and lowlifes!
