as most of you know i live just outside Blackpool. blackpool has its fair share of burger joints from mcdonalds to greasy joe's, one of the biggest is burger king smack bang in the centre of blackpool, good for location every one from tourist to worker. on satureday it closed its doors for good, ok fine you say, but thats not it really, while there are 5 mc donalds there was only one bk, ok theres one in the pleasure beach but that is solely for pleasure beach customers. i believe that its a bad sign when a company like bk pulls out of a place like blackpool, not only for the town but the economy as a whole, cos if they cant make a burger joint pay then how does every one else manage. :-? :-? :-?

If its smack in the town centre, then it probably has very high rent and rates on the building.
Plus dont forget places like these are all franchises, and probably trying to get someone else to take it on isnt easy  :-/

It amazes me that anyone supports the 5 mcdonalds TBH. At least burger king sell food that's vaguely edible IMHO. The last time I went into a McD's it was - well, the last time. Nuff said. :-X

went to blackpool once, never again. left after 3 days, full of scroungers and rsoles. went and got digs in preston for the next 4 months insteada  :)

Not sure if it's Gloucestershire specific, but you will absolutely not beat Burger Star!

You'll find proper chips if you go into a proper chippy & not a horrible fast food chain, especially up North where tha get get gravy & mushy peas etc etc ..... as Peter Kay asked, 'as tha' nowt moist?'  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D
