Fast food isn't always bad.

Realised a couple of weeks back that our local Kebab house does the most fantastic homemade Hummus. That with a bit of pita bread. Very nice, and reasonably healthy. It made his day when we complimented him on it, instead of staggering up to the counter and asking for more "Chilli sauce, Mate!".

Last time i was there, i  ...... asked for some Fries with my salt

They're bloody [size=16]CHIPS[/size]!!!!  :-? :-? :-? 

Can't call them that. Chips are supposed to be made from potatoes.

You'll find proper chips if you go into a proper chippy & not a horrible fast food chain, especially up North where tha get get gravy & mushy peas etc etc ..... as Peter Kay asked, 'as tha' nowt moist?'

we had a Burger King in Perth til last year - now i'm not one for fast food burger joints - but given the choice - at least the BK whopper is proper tasty flame-grilled goodness.....slurp......anyone else peckish?

but you're right if a BK in the middle of Blackpool closes then we're doomed

i believe that its a bad sign when a company like bk pulls out of a place like blackpool, not only for the town but the economy as a whole, cos if they cant make a burger joint pay then how does every one else manage. :-? :-? :-?

Maybe if BK brough their pricing in to line with the likes of Mucky D, they'd have more custom through the door.
However when you charge almost 100% more than your rival for the same bit of crap, it's obvious what the outcome will be eventually.
