Whatever you think about Jacko, his music, shows and dancing were legendary and it's a huge loss to the world of music. I was spinning discs as a DJ throughout the Jackson era and his music would always fill a dancefloor without fail. Songs like Billie Jean , Thriller, Rock With You etc. are ageless.
RIP Jacko. :'( :'( :'(

I never bought any of his records unless a track happened to be on a compilation so there's no way I could be described as a fan.

He was certainly a mixed-up bloke who craved attention but was clearly less happy with himself than his fans were.

Thoughts are with his family.

The man was without doubt a musical genius and history will show him as one of the most talented artists ever.
Typically now following his death all his many close friends seem to be coming out of the woodwork, where were they when he was 'morphing' into a mentally ill freak with agents and promoters using and abusing him ?
And the gullible public and loyal fans once more being ripped off.
He was aquited of one 'child abuse' case and settled out of court on the second one.Think it fair to say that he escaped charges of paedophilia by the skin of his teeth (if he had any).
For maybe 20 years or more he was abusing himself and being allowed to do so,anyone else would surely have been 'sectioned' under the mental health acts,so lots of good friends ? i dont think so.
I do hope people who bought tickets for the O2 get their money back,i fear thats unlikely and the 'big con' will have been completed,no way did he ever look fit enough to appear for one show let alone fifty.
Did i like him ? some of his music yes.
But i would never have let him baby sit my kids.

During a recent press conference where he was asked about the cause of Michael Jacksons death, the coroner said he didn’t know if he should, 'blame it on the sunshine, blame it on the moonlight, blame it on the good times or blame it on the boogy.

What is the difference between Alex Ferguson and Michael Jackson.

Alex Ferguson is the only one who will be playing Giggs in August!

What a very very sad loss. I am gutted.  :'(

He was acquitted on the first case of child abuse and I will always maintain that the second case was someone trying it on to see what they could get out of him.

The man was a genius and there may never be anyone that gifted again.

RIP Michael

Apart from the one MDTM has already posted, all the jokes I've seen so far are probably not suitable for this forum ::)

What "jokes" apart from MDTM's have been posted TB? :-? :-?

All I have seen is statement of fact. 8-) 8-) 8-)

EDIT:  OR do you mean those on the specific 'jokes' thread TB? :-/ :-/

sad loss to the music world. I saw him at Wembley in his hey day. fabulous concert. Afterwards we all spewed out and up the M1 etc. Stopped at the first services (along with everyone else!) The queues were so long for food and drinks that the punters were shockingly just helping themselves.

Very sad news. I'd read that he wasn't in the best of health but I never imagined that he could have been that sickly, especially after the O2 dates were announced. Michael Jackson's legacy to pop music is up there with the super-super greats, but we'll never be able to boogie to Billie Jean quite so carefreely again.

No one can say for sure whether he interfered with kids or not. To those who hate him he's guilty. To those who love him he's innocent. Despite court verdicts no one really KNOWS for sure either way. I'm no fan of his purely because it's not my type of music but his talent can't be denied, was Thriller the best ever seller?
Despite his music being a bit limp wristed & soppy for my tastes I'm exercising a modicum of diplomacy (for once) as i know many of you have a lot of love for the bloke. I don't really like him but would'nt wish him dead either.

It was probably the best thing that could have happened from a pop legend point of view. Let's face it, he would have been sh!te on his London shows. People would have remembered him making a idiot of himself and that's what would have stuck in their memories.

Personally, I could take him or leave him.
