notification email hyperlink
« on: 29 June 2009, 16:09:09 »

FAO hard-working admins methinks.....

Having not been on the forum for a while, and recently upped my input/browsing, (cause it's ace  :y) i've noticed the notification emails - the one's that tell me somebody's added to a thread i'm interested in - have changed.

It's only a little thing, but they used to have a 'View it at' hyperlink that meant going back to the topic was easy. Now they've only got half the link, and as such don't work directly. (They're missing the http://www.omegaowners.com ). Now I have to copy and paste!  :(

Is this a mistake, or a streamlining feature?

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Its a side effect of a couple of config changes I made last week.

Its OOF's 3rd birthday in just over a week, and long standing members know exactly what that means on past experience. You really don't want to end up looking at watches, do you ::)

Now, for the first time, this year I have control of the omegaowners.com domain, and have taken every step I can think of to ensure we don't have a repeat of the previous 2 years!

But if the unthinkable does happen, you can still find us at
www.omegaowners.co.uk
until we can fix it again!
