Charming people
« on: 12 July 2009, 18:08:23 »

I notice such a difference between Maria's home and mine, it's unreal.

Working on the Astra today at Maria's - a white van pulls up nearby. Driver appeared to be drinking a can of something.

Empty cigarette packet comes out of the window into the road - followed by the can - before he drives off.

Looked at the can - it was a pint can of Stella  >:(

Some people have no respect, they don't deserve the use of the road....  >:(

And what is wrong with Stella James? ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;)

Seriously though you certainly do have different attitudes to life on different housing estates, or throughout whole towns or villages.  Re-education has to be an answer one day, but in my 50+ years I have witnessed a continual campaign about dropping litter (and spitting in my early years!!), but people just do not learn!! >:( >:( >:(

Many years ago i used to do this. Although illegal it seemed acceptable at the time. Nowadays such activities are rightly frowned upon & i would'nt dream of it.
   Hope this does'nt make me a hypocrite but times change.

Should have phoned Plod with his reg No. and which direction he drove. You won't stop him leaving litter, but you may stop him driving for a while...and some hefty insurance premiums for a good few years.
