how good is the oof delivery chain these days

as the above title says as im after something from Great Maplestead [essex] but they wont post due to the weight,[its a worktop gas hob] so i was wondering if either some fellow oofer from down that way could help in any way or suggest a way to get it picked up as the seller isnt being too helpful, i havent bought it yet but my other halfs decided she wants it so thats why im asking for help just for a quiet life :'(

if its under 30kg most couriers will handle it ( subject to size) but you will need the sellers co-operation for the courier to collect,

thats what i was thinking johnty but the seller is a bit sceptical about waiting in for it to be picked up by a courier, so i was hoping somebody could pick it up & send it parcel farce or something similar.

hey mate. how big is it. i'm in essex next week( basildon) from tuesday until sta/sun. no prob for me to come up the m1 then over the tops so would be passing your place anyway. i got a 2000 saloon.

Yes it is! :y Might be a nice addition to the forum, a Relay section., I know a few members are truckers and many more drive around with work. It could save us all a fortune and mean more faces to names at the same time.

there was a member that had or has a delivery service, he had arrangements with other couriers which had some good reports from other members & the prices were very reasonable, unfortunately i couldnt find the link or remember his user name,,,,,aw bugga! :(
