gone over your bandwidth?

These dongles that everyone seams to be using from home are not meant for such use.

Try contacting them... Although I've only used mine a little, as I've only got it for when I'm not at home, it was fine.

Perhaps try uninstalling the software and trying to reinstall it :-/ :-/ :-? :-?

Yeah i`ve wondered as to wether they are overheating as they get really hot when plugged into the laptop directly and stay cool when used via a usb lead.... :-/

I had a "3" dongle last year....utter rubbish. Was having same problem as you. Now have a vodafone one,its perfect, never let me down in the 6 months ive used it so far. I top up with £15 and that does me roughly 2 months.

My advice, if you have at a 3G or prefrably a 3.5G Capable phone the chances are it'll have an internet sharing option, if you pay for unlimited data which is cheaper than a dongle this will give you the same speed internet access for you PC. Job Done. hehe!!  :y

Must admit, the Vodafone one is not bad. Might flicker from 3G to 3G+ from time to time but it can hold the connection and speed is good.
