The wifey was off on Friday so we went to Lake Vyrnwy in the land of my fathers for a picnic and long walk. The weather was brilliant and we were in the MX5 with the roof off so i've caught the sun and look like a greek god

(yeah right). On the way home we stopped off at my brother-in-laws farm in Whitchurch so he told us we were staying the night and after a bit of clay pidgeon shooting, riding his trail motor bikes and his John Deere Gator (banana splits vehicle 6 wheel thing) around the farm, we opened the beer and ordered a take away and I got a little bit drunk

. Saturday morning we were awoken early with bacon and eggs and then told we were doing the hay baling, I was lucky because I had to be in Liverpool for 1 oclock but went back to Whitchurch afterwards and finished at just past midnight last night. They will be at it again today but i've got a pass as I have to do my own fencing to do. My brother in law is playing at being a farmer as he only has a few Welsh Black cattle but when he has to work it is hard and gives you an insight as to how hard a real farmer works. I know I couldn't do it full time.
