passport advice

looked on internet, cant find info.

Do you need a passport for an internal flight from london to scotland??

I know Scotland is another country, but you do'nt need a passport to fly/travel within the UK  ;) :y :y :y

good, i know you have to to go to dublin so wasnt sure. looks like i shall be having my first drinking session in scotland soon then.  :)

any ideas who would be the cheapest to fly with, can fly from heathrow, stanstead or luton. although heathrow is 10 mins form me by car.

best bet is look on internet really and check for deals to glasgow

try looking on expedia.com.  Don't ignore cost of parking if you need it.

If your flying with sleasyjet check what I.D they accept.They prefer a passport no matter where you are flying from/to but I think they will accept 1 or 2 other forms of I.D. :y

In the generally accepted sense of using the passport to identify the country of origin of the traveller, it's unnecessary.

Many carry it for purposes of having a photo ID however so I would imagine that if you were to have an alternative means of photo ID, to satisfy airport security, you could leave the passport at home :y

It is sensible to have some form of photo ID all the same, whatever you take.

If you're going for a drinking session, probably best to leave the passport at home then!  :y

If you're using EasyJet, the following is found in section 8 of their T&C's

The airline requires all passengers to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights including domestic services. Passengers who use the online check-in service will be required to provide photographic ID at the security gate and again at the boarding gate.
