new neighbours

I found a discarded needle in front of my house again today.
I used to live in a nice area before my new neighbours moved in.

My Dad and the wife are type 1 . the wife since she was 13 and my  Dad for the past 3 years or so . I still cringe when i see them use those pen mix thingies . I know I'm a wuss  ;)

I'm on type II at the moment and still arsing around with tablets. Dreding the day it deteroriates into Type I. :(

Hmmm, my partner is type I Insulin dependent as well, she was diagnosed when she was 16. Not funny.

At least you wont have to worry about injecting yourself with a syringe  for your insulin ,they have pens and pre-filled devices now .  :y :y :y :y

Pens etc. still have needles & then there's also the finger pricking for blood samples to test 3 or 4 times a day. There but for fortune...............

Just as some find it funny & some don't, you can't please everyone.
I personally didn't find it funny & diabetes has never affected me in any way. Some things i find funny, but other's don't.
