Just listening to all the praise being heaped on Kennedy. I was only young when Mary Jo Kopechne died, but it still leaves a bad taste.

The whole of that generation of Kennedy's, and their father Joe, were blighted by corruption and the belief that they could always get what they wanted, no matter what the cost! >:( >:(

Camelot was never a 'pure' place when JFK was there ::) ::) ::)

...and that has left a terrible legacy to this very day Ms Z.

It devalued somewhat a measure of the content that JF and RF had - unfortunately the questionable nature of some aspects of the US political system enabled this kind of dynastic misbehaviour to take hold and thrive. :(

(Carlsberg don't do shit quotes sucking up to the Americans but .....)
