Cambelt party tools
« on: 26 February 2007, 14:25:24 »

OK, trying to get tools back to their rightful owners. MaxV6 now has his BBQ stuff and rad.

I have:
Loctite cap - MDTM
Halfords E12 - ?
Rubber mallet - ?
Tweezers - ?

Missing:
Halfords E10
Halfords E11
Halfords rachet spanner 12/13mm

MDTM has:
Halfords E10 - TB

Missing:
Draper Pro E12
Various Stanley screwdrivers
2.2 camlock - Tunnie

Can those who had work done just double check under bonnet, esp the sides, for missing sockets and small screwdrivers ;)

as an aide de memoire, I can say I first saw that Rubber Mallet I dropped off, wielded  in the hands of Dave LB66, as he was carrying it in from the front of the driveway towards my car... it were proper scary,  :y  big chap, with big hammer, approaching one's car with an air of grim determination ;)

hope it helps jog a memory...

well it appears that my set is complete ... but the E11 does look older than the rest so I guess that must be TheBoy's, mine is probably either in BoBo's engine bay or the road where the cam cover change was done? ::)

Haven't been able to check the big white box of stuff as it's in the garage and that's 4 miles from here ... will try to pop over there soon to check ... probably tomorrow ...

And you will be capable of little more when I bounce aforementioned mallet off your head when I get it back!  >:(

 ;)

That will be Mr McB's mallet Jaime, I'll get it back sometime.

righto ... I popped to the garage and grabbed the box of stuff I brought back.

No more sockets in there, but I do appear to be missing my dead blow hammer - like a rubber mallet, but with lead shot inside (sounds like a maracca)

TheBoy ... will post your E11 to you tomorrow.

BoBo & EP - please can you check for a halfords E11 torx bit (still fairly shiny) in your engine bays, I seem to remember some of my tools being used on EP's cambelt change before I started BoBo's cam covers ... thanks  :y

EDIT: just popped down to the sorting office (just) in time for last post, so that E11 socket should be arriving at TheBoy's tomorrow  :)
