Chillies. If you like & cook curry, how many do you add & what type?

I buy the Bird Eye ones which are second hottest.

I add five to six (with seeds) to a pan & hot curry powder, chillie powder

Problem is though, the hotter you have it, the more used to it you become & so want it hotter & hotter 8-)

Well after sourcing the gear to feed the hungry horses at the Newent meet:

1. Oil, curry paste, (sliced meet of your choice), coconut milk.
2. More coconut milk, water, relevant vegetables e.g., egg plant of varying sorts, thai bay leaves, thai birds eye chillies (one each per person).

3. To flavour (eg what taste you like) add sugar, salt, soy sauce

Have two large pots sittin behind me now ready to be transported to Newent tomorrow

love spicey food the more chillies the better theres some thing quite satifying about having your dinner burn on the way out lol

I grow around 8 - 12 varieties each year. By far the hottest is the Dorset Naga imo. Grow cherry bombs and Jallapenoes for general use, still hot but nice and fruity and they don't destroy your taste buds....
