That does look nice.  3.7Q gets just below what a 3.0L Omega gets, so shouldn't be a lot worse.  3.7 and 4.2's are going for under £5K sometimes.  However, if you think an Omega is death by a thousand paper cuts . . . .  ::)

Yes Theo, it would no doubt empty your wallet on a regular basis. I never seriously consider buying these cars I look at, but, it doesn.t stop me looking. Massochist, I guess :o

The other problem with A8's is insurance.  Because of the Aluminum body only a few places can fix them, which drives up repair costs and therefore insurance.  They do drive like a smaller car, and the S8's sound awesome, but they have less headroom than an A6 which means I'm not happy in one . . .  >:(

I am not talking about the current body style A8 or A6.  The new A8 has plenty of headroom.

That interior is absolutely disgusting! It totally spoils an otherwise great car.

Mmmm!? Perhaps it'd look better if there was a bit more red in there!  ::)

someone would have to PAY me to even sit in it.... that was one of the ugliest interiors i've ever seen, what on earth would possess someone to order that from new by choice??
