I've filled a bin liner with old audio tapes, some pre-recorded & some bought ones.
No one listens to tapes nowadays (ok some do, if you're old like STMO) He probably still listens to Eight Tracks
Anyway back to the point, what are supposed to do with them :-/ Recycle, land fill or charity shops :-? Any ideas

I have the same problem Pete.

Few box's of audio cassattes, plus an 8 track stereo and a box of tapes.

Also have a couple of reel to reel players as well.   :-/

You can't really recycle them per se (unless you are going to break them down and seperate the component parts), charity shop opens you up to legal action if someone doesn't like what they hear (thanks to Nu Labia), so it's landfill time (mainly because cassette tape never made the grade from the day it was invented).

You could always play them in your MIG, because even though it was meant to be something special in it's day....they still fitted it with nothing less than a shit system to start with.

One of them is a Sony TC something or other, not sure of the model mumber, got buried in one of the bedrooms during the move.  (Might not see it till next year now)
