Another cruel joke

Seen a bloke at the bus stop this morning with no legs, he wasn't amused with me!! All I said was "Hello, how you getting on?"  ;D ;D ;D

The cruel part I can see, just can't work out where the funny part is, seeing as the heading said "joke".

Somehow I really don't think I do. In fact, I can just forget about it.
Unfortunately, the young soldiers on TV recently that lost their limbs in explosions can never forget about their experience and have the rest of their lives to think about it.
