I too hope & pray maddie is alive & well and with people who love her (however misguided) and that one day she will be returned to her real family.

There are many theories along those lines, Tunnie. However I still hold out for the best outcome, however unlikely that may be.

Something does not sit right..... her parents refused to take a lie detector test and refuse point blank to answer specific questions.

There are quite a few worrying aspects and I doubt we will ever get to the bottom of it.

My little theory is they found her dead or killed her by accident, and got the other family relative (name escapes me) to get rid of the body.

I can see where you are coming from there. But for both parents to be that calculating and that hard beggars belief. If, God Forbid, I did something like that to my little lad I would probably top myself too.

Which brings it back to something not being quite right about them.

We all have our opinions on this subject... Mine were very controversial at the time (and still are) but many people shared them.

IMHO the most important thing is for closure on the subject, which can only be achieved by finding the poor missing girl.... Hopefully alive (which would prove me wrong) or dead.

Folks, at the request of the OP I'm locking this thread.  Its a very emotive subject and it would be a pity that it were to degenerate on here into a slanging match.

I hope the world gets closure on this case file sometime soon but, personally, I think its going to be a (sad) case that may never reach conclusion.....
