Vista - File Download Manager, recommendations
« on: 05 November 2009, 14:28:25 »

Anyone recommend a good File Download Manager / Accelerator, main reason is currently using 3g/HSDPA at moment so Windows one is a bit of a pain when the connection is lost (i.e. something that continues downloading the File on next connection).

Used to use Star Downloader for quiet a few years without probs, but Vista doesn’t seem to like it.

Lots out there to choose from, each with their own strengths.

Firefox comes with one built in that is OK-ish

Not all downloads are resumable, so it may or may not be a solution for you
