Indeed. His cars are very good and they sell for the money he asks (he's very reluctant to budge on price, or mine might have come from him) so that speaks volumes to me.

After all, how long would you have to wait to find an 02 3.2 elite estate with 51k in the classifieds these days?

If you're prepared to wait, then fair enough. If I were in the market I might be tempted to decide that I don't buy a car every day, it's barely run in and will last another 100k+, so it's worth splashing out.

For me the best thing about Omega's is that they offer so much spec and a big lump of car for the money. I think the best ones are higher millege, older cars tbh, say sub £3k. As for £5600 think id be more tempted by something big and German.

Just my opinion  ;)

Depends how long you plan to keep the car. I paid RB price as my plan was to LPG the car and keep it, hopefully, for at least 10 years.

Everyone buys for different reasons.....  price is not the only consideration

I paid  a lot of money for one from him ... 2 years ago just before the prices plumetted .... but I have no regrets ... you get what you pay for and I got a lot of car, with a lot of toys, for the money that at that time I was willing to pay... ok its is worth an awful lot less than it was on the market .. but it is worth an awful lot more to me than it's monetary value.

No-one is forced to buy from him .. but I will say that all his cars are good ones..   You pays your money and you makes your choice ...

Expensive, well prepared, backed up car from RB ... or a cheap, unknown and risky "pop" on fleabay.

I chose my way .. some agree, some don't ... C'est La Vie as they say  :)

I agree with you.  If I wanted a good car that was reliable and for daily use, which I will be looking later in the year, I would be tempted to pay good money for a good car. Would not buy that one though, hate leather seats......... :D :D :D

Had the 03 been sub 50k on the miles I might have considered putting good money into it, but would deffo have to have the colour sat nav fitted.

I bought my 3.2 elite estate (51 plate) with CID screen and telematics from RB and have lost 5k in 3 years. Do I regret it; no, I bought it with 39K on it and have loved every minute of it taking it upto 79K.

I want to be able to take it alot further than this though, and only today with it covered in snow and looking like sh&te whilst taking the dog to the vet, a couple of young lads said that it looked a good motor and went like sh!t off a shovel when the S button was pressed on the auto.

You get what you pay for to a point, mine was 6 years old with 39 K on the clock, I do 15K (or thereabouts) a year at least so wanted a low mileage example. These cars beat alot of more executive / luxury cars with their spec and are relatively ecomonical to maintain parts wise. Love it.......oh yes. :D :D :D
