1" of snow in Stoke Row, north of Reading, rain in Reading and Slough at lunch time, but now in Slough its not even raining.

.. for those who've been waiting for someone to have a good word to say about Slough.  ;)

It may not be raining but is there any oxygen in the atmosphere?
(Vegetables of course need Carbon Dioxide not Oxygen to survive) :D

I know it doesn't seem that cold at the moment, but there is apparently an outside chance that the rain coming in from the West tonight could turn to snow.

Speak for yourself!  The car thermometer said 3.0oC when I went out a couple of hours ago, but there was a bit of a breeze and it felt a hell of lot colder than that.  But at least we haven't got any rain or snow over this way :)

Oi! That's where my Mum and Dad used to live!  It's very nice round there.

They used to keep The Queen's Head pub on the A308.  It was right next to a farm - I'll remember the name soon.  And now I come to think of it, it did pong a bit a certain times of the year.

It's only a mile from Bray, so the other explanation for the smell could be Heston Blumenthal's chemistry cooking :)
