I, being in Wales have never tried a Hollands pie, as I know they are based in the North West somewhere, Blackburn or summat like that, seen their factory once about 30 years ago, big tall chimney with HOLLANDS running down it, if I am correct, but on the way home from Miss Millies last night I saw a Hollands pie lorry, delivering to a local company I think is called Castle Howell .
Anyways as I am in Wales we only have two local manufacturer's and they are called Peter's and Lewis's. I worked in the Peter's factory when I was 17, told them a lie to get the job, told them I was 18, as I wanted to work nights, it worked and was there till I was 23 and got my 1st pub.
But Lewis's are far superior to Peter's OMHO.

Never heard of a Hollands pie.

Pukka are good and sol in most chippys round here, They were .99p each from asda and I used to buy a couple of each every 6 weeks in my shopping, price suddenly went to £.139 so aint had any since.

Historically speaking, Hollands is the old name for Gin.

So, since I've never tried either of the pie brands, I'll plump for Hollands. :)
