I think it is called Anamorphis, spelt incorrectly me thinks, but bloody good all the same!!!!!!!

3D pavement artists are very, very clever .. but looked at from any angle other than the "right" one .. they look really, really weird !!!

was going to say exactly that, sometimes seen on test match cricket pitches, catch the n power logo on a differant camera and its 100ft high/long whatever. I'd like to see how they draw them out, i always imagine some sort of laser marks the outline when aimed from the camera position
