so this means that co2 levels are not dropping like they say they are. they are actually getting higher again ??

No .. it means they rose and the trees took advantage ... it does NOT prove they are still rising, or what caused the rise.

Everything about that research article is historic, as they are measuring the effects of PAST CO2 levels ...  :)
