fire brigade reckon electrical fault. Car hadn't been used for nearly 18 hours so can't have been anything else really.

That certainly looks like an electrical fire.

When you get a replacement.... DON'T park it there agin, looks like a cursed space!

Thats the 3rd leccy fire thats been to do with the Elites, i seam to remember someone had a fire in the exact same place!  :o

Just to compound a bad day, I did salvage the headlight washer before they took the car away. Went to look for said washer last night and found the dog had chewed it up >:(

Not a problem on 97/98 onwards cars with the positive distribution setup...
