looks fine on my pc....????

Folks, this a sales thread not a discussion area.  Thats what the other sections of the forum are for.  Please restrict posting on sales threads to things regarding the actual car, not assorted 'dangle berries' about nowt too particular.

ta....

Ok this was recieved from Hotel21 lovely language for the administrator to use i was mearly stating to Simon that his avatar was fine.. did not need the language used in the response... I would not use that language to anyone on here sodont appreciate it to me !!!!!! I do hope I have posted it in the right section this time !

I must be coming down with PMT today or something.....   ::)

Your comment is fair.  I quoted your post as it was simply the last in the line.  There were assorted others who were discussing avatar size and such which is, frankly, not what the sales thread is for, but gen discussion area is, where you quote a link back.

Been too many threads in the sales area where they have gone off on so much of a tangent that its impossible to see what was initially for sale.  Been discussed many times previously, such that its becoming wearing from an admin perspective.

You were simply the unfortunate that was in my firing line.

Apologies....  ;)

Not a problem I can see your point as well, I thought Simon was getting hammered for something that was not wrong,, Just saying what I could see next time keep my opinion to myself, seems easier... :-/

TBH .. considering the amount of not-very-well-disguised language

ie   idiots, break, and other such with perhaps the odd * thrown in to avoid the profanity filter

the use of the word "'dangle berries'" is actually pretty tame ...

for what is SUPPOSED to be a family site ...    :-/ :-/ :-/   :-X

Not at all, feel free to join in.  The longer you stay around, the easier the assorted personalities who regularly post could be recognised and understood a little better.   :y

We (admins) have been trying to drag the for sale sections back on track, as they have been getting a bit messy, with everyone slagging off everything for sale.  Yet another thankless task we have to do, but thats another discussion for another day.

It would appear that Hotel21 quoted your post purely because it was the last one in the thread, rather than a dig at your particular post, if thats makes sense?

If you want to discuss further, feel free to discuss here, or via PM with me if you want to keep it private.

Totally makes sense I can see by looking through some of the other posts just now in the for sale section it is happening alot so can see where your frustrations are coming from.. my apologise to anyone I may have upset or caused additional work too....

Please don't grovel, it's unseemly for a family forum ;D ;D ;D ;)

Maybe at meets, but come on, none of the children of members surf the forum. There are far worse things out there, than occasional swear word.

I don't see a problem with it

Says a single man without children, we have all been there ::) ::) You have so much to learn ;D  When I sign on Miss Vamps is there looking over my shoulder, reporting to swmbo what I am on, oof, ebay etc. Because of this I do not open the NWS posts or anything Scruntie posts :D or anything that looks iffy, till she has gone to bed :y
I think you will find other members will have the same problem, with children there is no private life... :D :D :D

You have to remember, some members may have their PC downstairs or using a laptop, with their little ones sat around watching.

The one thing we really must not allow is for General Chat to degenerate into certain sections of other forums. No names mentioned obviously.
