WebEurope is Winn's company, so no surprises that he doesn't mention his rant in his "clarification".

My take is that he did actually say the words quoted in the Mail & The Sun.

BTW, I think he's a plonker. ;)

I think he comes across like an idiot in either statement. He obviously thinks he has a valid point of view, but he takes it to a ridiculous extreme.

I dont know what is more disgusting, his initial outburst or the use of press release as a soapbox in some sort of justification and furthering his cause.

He will never employ anyone who has served in the forces?  Based on a minority who, in his opinion, have not reported war crimes to protect their mates?  Proof to justify his claims?  Comparing the Armed Forces of 50 odd years ago to todays force which stands for high morals and standards smacks of ignorance.  I acutally feel slighted by his comments.

I thought it was illegal to discriminate against potential employees in this way?  Should I send my CV?  ::)

1. If he took this stance against any other group of people - Gypsies/gays/ lesbians/immigrants etc. he would be in court on hate crime charges in the blink of an eye.
2. The utter sh1te he speaks regarding Northern Ireland clearly shows what a 100% tosser he is. Hasnt got a  clue what he is talking about.
3. Charge him with treason or deport the moron imo.

Having been in Northern Ireland in the "troubles" and seen a few things I would have rather not, does this guy really live in the real world??
Duty means you do what you are told, not always what you would do given the choice. Ex-forces are to be respected, not discriminated against.
