calling oof network, Dunfirmline to anywhere south
« on: 14 March 2010, 22:07:19 »

Bloody long shot this one.

I have just won a collapsable bike trailer that, when dismantled, fits in a car boot. Clever bit of kit, rare on ebay, and i got it for a fair price.

Only problem is its in Dunfirmline. Slight issue i know.

Anyone near there coming even slightly south, even a little bit nearer Reading, that has an empty boot, that i can meet on thier travels would be, well, an almighty bit of luck as it happens.

Its no biggy as we can pick up next Saterday, and have a weekend in Edinburgh, or York, or any other town that suits.

Whats the odds? slim i suspect. :-/

Cheers

Chris.

Get Parcels2go to pick it up, only cost you a tenner! Only problem is you got to get the seller to pack it.

If it's under 30kg, or can be packed separately so that each box weighs under 30kg, I can get them picked up on a 24hr service for £5.00 a box.

Dunfermline is just along the road from me.  I regularly have to travel to deliver/uplift cars from waaaay down south but don't know from one day to another whats ahead of me.

Was (near to) Deepest Darkest Brackley the other week and managed to fit in a delivery of roof bars to TB, so anythings possible.   Will have to see what develops during the week though...  :-X

edit to add, was at Durham/Chester-le-Street last Wednesday, to give some idea.   ;)

Well I do a journey from Manchester (didsbury) to Chelmsford fairly often.... if someone can get it to me here then I'll take it on the next leg :)

edit:- it is a saloon with a 90L lpg tank but I don't mind folding the seats down and lobbing inside should it need it

Clacton-on-sea, the place to be! As the irritating DJ in the dodgy nightclub at the end of the pier used to say. Apparently. ::) Never been there myself, of course. Oh, no. :-X

I'm probably going to the Essex meet if I can save you a trip.

I can continue its journey from there, and bring it down to Osterley. I can go via Slough on my way home.... (Its just M4/M40 rather M4/M25/M40)

Although i actually finish work on Wednesday and not due back in till April  ::)

To depends when this is happening  :-/

Right, throw Stockton, on Wednesday, into the mix.  Cant go further south than there, so anywhere slightly north, on the east coast, is viable.  Would be around lunchtime/12-ish, not much later.

I may well be heading up towards Richmond (North Yorks) in the not too distant future if someone can take it from H21 this week?
