Aaaargh!
« on: 18 March 2010, 08:38:51 »

Spent most of last night tearing the house to bits!

The RC of Windows 7 expired recently so I decided to rebuild the computer with a dual boot of Debian and Vista.  I have an old copy of XP MCE which I was going to use as a media server and setup along with the PS3 a rather tidy home media system.

Two problems:

I have the XP disks but cant find the case with the code....

I have the code for Vista but no disk!  >:(

Poooo out of luck it seems.  ;D ;D ;D

Sod the dual boot malarkey and just install Debian. Can't see a problem with that. ;)

There. That's more like it. :y

.. although wine might struggle a bit. Not that I've used it for a while. Suck it and see.

Apparently it works so time will tell.  Trying to sort out my graphics setup right now.  System starts with no errors but as soon as I get the login prompt all viseo output is lost, until I shut down....wierd  :(
