Bit of a stupid question as it could obviously vary but, how long should 1GB of internet last on a phone. Just ordered my son a iPhone 3gs after yesterday and his phone getting caved in. He gets unlimited on wi-fi but should 1gb last him a month, i'll make sure they block anymore anyway but just checking

Dont know much about them, but surely it depends on what he does with it, if he downlods a lot then surely he used up his allowance faster.

I would say just internet browsing etc, it should be plenty. But If he will be streaming TV & Music etc. Then 1gb might be pushing it. It all depends on usage.

I can use over 1.5gb per month using slingplayer and web browsing alone, and I wouldn't say I hammered it.

if your surfing only from the phone, that should last you the month. If you pair your phone to a laptop and use it for that, then not long.

I have 'unlimited' internet on my phone, which does have a fair use policy of 1Gb, never had a problem

i get 3gb on my phone and it lasts about 20-28 days if i bluetooth it to my laptop. depending on if i do downloading

Well it arrived today which was quick only rang them at 5 to 5 yesterday evening, here by quater to 10. He'll only be surfing the net not downloading, is there anyway to put a block on it on vodaphone?
