More Sad News
« on: 08 April 2010, 00:00:43 »

Just a few days after the sudden death of John Forsyth we now have the sad news that Christopher Cazenove has also passed away. Two Dynasty actors passing away in as many days. :'( :'( :'(
To be honest I never watched Dynasty, was a Dallas fan myself, but I did like Christopher Cazenove in the few episodes of Judge John Deed that he appeared in as Rowe Coleman.

To be honest I do not care, save the grief of the families :(
I have more concern for the 2 fireman who died doing their duty in a block of flats...... :( :(

A death is a death.....and whilst a particular death may not upset us lets remember there is a family tragedy happening on each occasion

I think the difference between the sad deaths is the manner of departure.

The actors had had a good life, and were taken by natural causes.  You could say their time had been well served.

The two fireman, tragically taken from their young children and families generally, were in the prime of their lives and risked all to help others with, in this one incident, terrible consequences.  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Lizzie

is that not like saying that people shouldnt grieve for old people cos "it was to be expected" ??

A death is a death, regardless of circumstance there will be grieving......!

But there are different types of death as in this case, and yes there will be the grieving, but in each case it will be modified to take into account young children and families left behind in the instance of the young fireman, with an acceptance that lives had been led and fulfilled in the other of the actors.

As I  have got older the understanding of the difference between grieving over my 95 year old aunt's death and the loss of much younger, less life fulfilled, members of the family have been learnt.   I would be the last to devalue grieving, and how it feels to the individuals, but there are crucial differences as I have tried to outline. :'( :'( :'(

I must also emphasis that I strongly believe that everyone goes on to a new life plain when we depart this existence.  Something my aunt taught me at an early age, God bless her! :'( :'(
