An unprecedented 144 MP's are leaving this term. I think in the next few days there may be a few more pulling the pin.
This I think will be one of the most exciting General Elections in recent times.
Anyone want to open a book on Gordon and his money grabbing cronies losing not only their Ministerial jobs but also their SEATS.
Goona be very very interesting

And you would replace him with who???? some tories who like to claim their expenses and consider us as rif raf.......... >:(  We will get screwed whichever way it goes. I have no intention in getting into any political arguments, but, to me, they are all as bad as each other... ::) I work on local politics and our MP is doing our village a lot of good at the moment so will be voting for him, and to be honest not sure what colour he is... :-[ :-[

I did raise the 'threat' point at a public meeting a couple of months ago, and I did get a letter from the House of Commons on Saturday so you may well have a point, don't care really, if it works... :y

A momentous event for the UK.

My own prediction is that the so-called "minor" parties will do unexpectedly well and may even hold the balance of power in a hung parliament. I do not believe the polls - even tonight there is a variation of 10% in the Tory lead between pollsters.

There will be a reduced turnout, that's for sure. In part, that will be reflect apathy but also the feeling that "there all the same". That, to me is a shame as they are NOT all the same.

But 4 weeks is a long time in politics and you can be sure that all three major parties have a few tricks up their sleeves to discredit their opponents. A clean fight it will not be.

In my view, the political classes need to earn a few lesson, this is the time to teach them.  :y
