voted...........you could probably guess who for..........actually maybe not - i'm genuinely torn between 3 parties so, to my local candidates I say - make your bribes to me in a sealed envelope to the usual address, you money grabbing charlatans
as for the general election I reckon (as i said months ago) we're heading for a hung parliament so we'll do it all again in a few months
DC is really annoying me already tho - rolling up his sleeves, ditching the tie and looking all "earnest" and "ready to work"
GB made a truly terrible speech :-/
didn't see whats-his-face Clegg all day, but I was busy
Tories/UKIP/BNP.

Im politicked out tonight. Just been down the pub having a "debate" with 3 mates. First one is a Lib Dem who is passionate about voting reform, shutting down all the banks, and putting more investment into public services. Had no idea where the money would come from without a financial industry to invest it. Loves all things European, especially French.

Second one, A wobbly tory who thought that Gordon had done a good job with the economy

Third one. Thought Thatcher was great in the 80,s but is a fervent Gordon supporter. "what he has done in the financial crisis has been absolutely brilliant".

The one thing they all have in common is a lifetime of working in the public sector - hence the muddled thinking ,I suppose.
I didnt lose a single point in a single argument, but it was tiring.

..........no hard feelings at the end though. I have been invited for a pleasant lunch on Thursday, where no doubt the debate will continue.
