Ive been reading a bit about the theory that we all have an exact replica of ourselves..or"doppleganger" somewhere in the world.
Weird story i have is a few years ago i was going out with a girl in Hawick. One night we were in a local bar,i was buying the drinks,she was sat at a table when a male friend of hers came over and asked her when she started seeing "Andy"?
"Who?" was her reply and the guy insisted that i was a guy that he knew very well called Andy.
I came back to the table and this guy took a long hard look and still wasnt convinced i wasnt his pal Andy. Took a good few mins and the realisation that my accent was different until he was convinced. Weird..........and no,he wasnt pissed! :y
Anyone had anything similar happen?

When I was 19, I got a right good hiding in a club in my home town. The psycho who did it only stopped kicking me when his mate pointed out he had the wrong guy because I didn't have a tattoo behind my right ear! Otherwise they both said I was a 'dead ringer' for the other bloke  :-/:o

had it in bletchley approx 15 yrs ago - walking down the high street- some woman comes up to me and starts talking - then realises after the blank expression on my face that I wasn't who she thought I was- then a week later had taken my mate's car for mot - and got asked -did I use to work there? -- apparently some poor sod in Aspley Guise looks like me.

2 strangers, on 2 separate occasions were convinced i was Vic Reeves!! both of them got a bit shirty the more i denied it - if it ever happens again i'll just admit i am - save the trouble ;D


mind you, that was 15yrs ago - i'm a bit chubbier than him now - too many "Big Nights Out"  :y



now if only the missus looked like Nancy Sorrell  ;D
