I just read the 2nd newspaper report, seems the rifle has an effective range of 3200ft, this guy proved the 1st shot wasnt a fluke and nailed a 2nd.

Wonder what he can do with a proper rifle. ::)

When you take into account the "windage" effect of even a couple of MPH over that distance thats some shooting.

I was down the Smoke today :y

Back in the days of the "troubles" in NI there was a squaddie whose idea of fun (rules of engagement, etc) was to shoot the cigarette out of the IRA sentries mouth for fun just to make him evacuate his bowels! ...............always thought it was just a story, but seeing it done was amazing.
These snipers are the mutts nuts.
